Nina's Southern Accents: Stampin' For Christmas Blog Hop

Hey Y'all!

It is never to early to think about Christmas! I am the person on Facebook that on the 25th of every month, I post how many months it is to Christmas. So I am so excited to collaborate with some fabulous demonstrators from across the globe to bring you Christmas projects every month! You may have arrived here from Nicole Mahler, welcome! I chose to create a home decor piece for my project.

I purchased this wooden craft piece from the Dollar Tree, and had the idea of "staining" it with some Soft Suede reinker and a water painter. I was so pleased with the results!

The Arrange A Wreath bundle is one of my favorites from the 2020-21 Annual Catalog. To make the wreath, I die cut Shaded Spruce, Just Jade, and Pool Party cardstock with both wreath dies and layered them.

I stamped the sign stamp in Crumb Cake Ink onto Crumb Cake cardstock, then stamped "Merry Christmas" in Real Red. Then I die cut it with a rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I love the look of the Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, and it added just the right "pop" of color.

I stapled a length of Just Jade Gingham ribbon to the back of the wood so the project could be hung. I had so much fun creating this, and I hope I have given you some inspiration. Next up is Dana Sullivan, I know you are going to love what she has to show you!
