Share It Sunday Blog Hop

Hey Y’all!

My life has been a whirlwind the last few weeks...my mom had surgery and I’ve been helping take care of her. But I have had some stolen moments here and there to play in my craft room...it’s truly better than any therapy! ***note***that is not a medical recommendation or any medical advice whatsoever. Crafting just helps clear my mind and relax me.

I am sharing a card I made with one of the cutest bundles ever! The Snailed It Suite is so fun! I actually CASEd this card Kristine Vicente, @queencitystampart on Instagram.

That tiny heart on the envelope though! Too stinkin’ cute! I colored some Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon with my Stampin’ Blends, don’t you just love that you can create ribbon to match any project! Stampin’ Up’s color coordination is second to none!
A very special friend will be getting this card in the mail, and I hope it relays the message of just how much of a blessing she is to me!
Do you have one of those special friends? Get crafty and make them a card to let them know just how much they mean to you!
Now be sure to hop around and see what everyone else is working on!

CASEing the Designer with Pretty Perennials GDP #284

Hey Y'all!
I am so happy I had time this week to play along with the Global Design Project challenge...it's CASEing the Designer, and here is what we are CASEing...this gorgeous creation by Krista Frattin:

I used many different elements from the Pretty Perennials bundle to make lots and lots of layers.

I started with a Sahara Sand cardbase and added a Nigh of Navy layer embossed with the Tasteful Textiles embossing folder.

I added a couple of strips of In Good Taste DSP (which is NOT retiring, and I am so happy about that!) and some Polka Dot Tulle ribbon (which is retiring, and that makes me sad.)

I built everything up on a Pool Party Oval die cut with the Stitched Shapes (retiring by the way!), and then added my sentiment.
If you would like to recreate this card and need any of the products used, just click on the images below to go to my online store. The new Annual Catalog is coming soon! If you don't currently have a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and would like a new catalog, contact me and I will be happy to mail you one.  If you have ordered from me in the last 6 months, you will automatically receive one. Thanks for stopping by today!  Be sure to subscribe to my blog, and leave me a comment and tell me what are you sad to see on the retiring list!
Love,
Nina

Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Hey Y'all!
I'm joining the Crafty Collaborators for another Crafty Challenge Blog Hop.  This time it's a Color Challenge.

Yesterday I shared a card with the Wild Roses Background Stamp, and since I already had it out on my desk, I chose to use it again for this project. If you missed yesterday's post, you can see it here.

I decided to use the same technique of inking up the stamp with a sponge brayer, but this time I created an ombre effect with the 3 colors from the color challenge.

I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight and used Misty Moonlight ribbon and enamel dots for embellishments.

Now that you have seen my project, it's time to see all of the other beautiful creations! Here is the list of all of the contributors:

Thanks for stopping by today, here is a list of all of the supplies I used to make this card.  Have a blessed day!
Love,
Nina
