Hey Y'all!
Fall is in the air! Now here in South Georgia, we don't get much of a fall season...most of the time it means the temps only get in the high 70's instead of the high 90's. But it still means pumpkins, changing in the leaf colors, coffee by the firepit (my favorite!), and lots of other fun stuff. So on my FB Live last night, I chose to use Harvest Hellos to make these two cards.
This was the original card I made beforehand, and then I CASE'd it with the Pumpkin card below. One of the viewers asked how I colored the apple. I used Real Red and Mango Melody Light and Dark Stampin' Blends.
I went old school and sponged the edges of several of the elements with Soft Suede ink. I also embossed the Pool Party die cut with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder. And, of course, I had to use my favorite background stamp, the Buffalo Check.
Tips and Tricks:
- Whisper White Thick Cardbase 8-1/2 x 5-1/2, score at 4-1/4, 2nd layer 4-1/8 x 5-3/8, Buffalo check layer 2 x 5-1/4
- When using Background stamps with the Stamparatus, since you can't hold your paper down with magnets, put a small amount of adhesive on the back of the paper you are stamping on to hold it in place.
