NOT Simple Stamping! With Sale-a-Bration Tea Time Framelits

Hey Ya'll!
Have you heard the news?  It's Sale-a-Bration time at Stampin' Up!  And I have this beautiful card to show you today using some Sale-a-bration products and some new products from the Occasions Catalog.
The Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (that's a mouthful) is so beautiful, and adds so much texture to the card.  The teapot is from a Sale-a-bration item, the Tea Time Framelit Dies, and you can get them for FREE with a $100 purchase.
The Lovely Lipstick foil paper is also a Sale-a-Bration item, and it is free with a $50 purchase.  I used the edgelit die from the Seasonal Layers thinlets to get the scalloped edge on my card.  The Stitched Labels Framelits are a staple in my craft room.
Do you see the shine in that greeting? That is achieved by first stamping in Lovely Lipstick, then stamping in Versamark ink and heat embossing with clear embossing powder. Heat embossing in any color you want! You can thank me later😊 The flowers  were stamped in Memento and colored with Stampin’ Blends, then die cut. They have given you 3 framelits for the leaves and 2 for the rosebuds so that you don’t have to make as many passes through the Bigshot...such a great deal!
Tips and Tricks:

  • Soft Sea Foam Card Base 8-1/2 x 5-1/2, scored at 4-1/4, Soft Sea Foam embossed layer 4-3/8 x 5-5/8, All my Love DSP 5-3/8 x 1
  • If you are embossing and cutting the same piece, cut first, then emboss or when you run it through the BigShot the second time, it will flatten out your embossing
  • Heat emboss in any color ink! Just stamp the image first in the ink color, then rest amp with versamark and sprinkle with clear embossing powder

Strong & Beautiful-Global Design Project #170

Hey Y'all!
Do you believe it's 2019!  I have taken some time off from stamping to enjoy the holidays with my family, but I am ready to get back in the swing of things, and what better way to start the New Year than with the Global Design Project challenge!  Here is the sketch:
Now the card I made is for a very special person...my youngest daughter.  She is officially a college senior!  I've been wanting to make a card for her using the Strong & Beautiful stamp set ever since I won it at Onstage back in November.  I teamed it up with the Butterfly Gala bundle, and here is the result:
I absolutely love the sentiments in this stamp set!  It is great for Mother's Day, friendship, encouragement, so many possibilities.

The butterflies add dimension, and the Butterfly Duet Punch makes it so easy!

Tips and Tricks:
  • Whisper White card base 8-1/2 x 5-1/2, scored at 4-1/4, Coastal Cabana layer 3-1/4 x 4-1/4, Wood Textures DSP layer 3 x 4
  • The sentiment on the side and bottom is one stamp, I used the Basic Black Stampin' Write marker to ink up only the portion I wanted to stamp in that area.
  • I die cut a piece of Whisper White and then embossed it with the Basket Weave embossing folder to add more texture.  This also helped adhere the Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight accent die cuts.
  • Be sure to use an Embossing Buddy when heat embossing to get crisp images and make sure there is no stray powder.
I can't wait to give my daughter her card...She heads back to school next Tuesday, so I'm going to put it in her room where she will find it before she leaves.  Who needs some encourgement from you?  I hope you're inspired to let them know!
