Food & Drink-Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop

Hey Y'all!

It's time for this month's Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop, and this one is near and dear to my heart! I knew when I saw the theme exactly what kind of project I wanted to create-it had to be all about coffee and chocolate, my absolute FAVORITE food and drink!

I pulled out my Nothing's Better Than stamp and matching dies and went to work. I considered using the die cuts "Love You More Than," but I didn't want to lie to somebody and tell them I loved them more than coffee haha! Don't worry, my husband knows where he stands....I'm just kidding y'all! Well, a little anyway!

I had a frame I had picked up at the Dollar Tree in my stash, and I painted it with some chalk paint. Then I added some Coastal Cabana reinker to give it a distressed look. The DSP is a pattern from the Heart & Home collection, and I die cut the words in Early Espresso (TIP: use Adhesive Sheets to make adhering these detailed die cuts so easy.) I stamped my cookie and chocolate images in Early Espresso and Crumb Cake -don't you love 2 step stamps! I stamped the coffee cup in Coastal Cabana ink onto a piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock, this is called Tone on Tone stamping for any newbies out there. I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso onto a die cut Coastal Cabana label from the new Fabulous Frames. I used dimensionals to pop up the coffee cup, cookies, chocolate, and the label.

And now I have this cute little home decor piece that will make a fun addition to my coffee station. Now hop through and see what everyone else did with this theme!

Introducing 2 Monthly Classes Starting in February!

Hey Y'all!

How is 2022 going for you? We are wide open-enjoying our new grandbaby, working, active in our church, and me trying to get in as much time in the craft room as I can.

I had the privilege of doing the craft at our church's Winter Weekend Youth Retreat, and this is what we created. I had received a similar art piece as a gift a couple of years ago, and I CASE'd it. This uses the retired Large Letters Dies and High Tide stamp set (for the water detail), but everything else is current. I loved to see how different everyone's projects looked-there was some awesome artistic talent in the group! I also just wanted to share some upcoming events with you. Last year kind of rocked my boat-my mom's illness and death, settling her estate, losing 2 precious friends and a nephew-and I wasn't able to give as much time to Stampin' Up!.

But I am excited to get back to classes in my home! I have several things in mind I will be telling you about in the future, but these 2 classes will (fingers crossed) be ongoing monthly classes. I also have a group that meets monthly in Thomasville, GA-my Rose City Stampers group. They have been my sure and steady throughout, and I don't know what I would have done without these ladies this past year. I think I would have gone insane without their friendship and support.

And that leads me to this...I know I can't advertise Stampin' Up! as any type of "therapy" or give medical advice. but if you aren't a part of some kind of group, and it doesn't have to be stamping, get involved in one! The friendships I have made through my Stampin' Up! journey mean so much to me, and like I've said already, they have carried me through one of the darkest years of my life. I'm sitting here with tears running down my face thinking about it, not in sadness, but so grateful for the people God has placed in my life. His grace is truly amazing!

There is always room at my table for you, and if you don't live locally, and there aren't any groups for you to join, maybe you should think about starting one! I would love for you to join my team! The Technique Tuesday class has a mail option

Sweet and Simple Card Class

3 cards/$12 ($14 if you use my adhesive)
This monthly class is perfect for beginner stampers or busy people that love to craft but don't have alot of spare time. In person class only.

Technique Tuesday

This monthly class will teach different stamping techniques Each month you will receive Stampin' Up! product needed to complete the technique taught that month. This class can also be a class by mail-you will receive the products in the mail and be given a video link to see the technique.
***2 options***
1) Club option: $25/month Commit to 12 classes, you will receive an album to hold instructions for each technique. If you cannot attend a class, you will be billed for that month, and product will be sent to you along with video link. (Add $8 for Shipping)

2) Month to Month option: $35 per class. Can't commit to 12 classes? Come to the classes you can.
