Make Your Own Gift Wrap! Packaging Blog Hop

Hey Y'all!
Today, the Crafty Collaborators are sharing packaging ideas. I fell in love with Stampin' Up! for this very reason...I love to make my own tags, and dress up a gift. We sell several packaging products such as boxes and bags, but today, I wanted to show you an idea that I have always loved, and is a great project to involve the kids....making your own gift wrap!

Brown paper packages tied up with strings....these are a few of my favorite things! I love the look of presents wrapped with kraft paper....I've used a roll of kraft paper I had on hand, you can purchase this at most any box store. I stamped the tree images in different greens all over the paper, and added the red dots.

Here is a close up view of the stamped images.

I uses the Tasteful Labels dies to create this tag, and added a tree cropped from DSP. I stamped the "To:" using the To/From stamp from Banner Year (a great stamp set for many occasions!) I don't know about y'all, but it seems like I hoard my ribbon and have lots left over when it retires! So I created this bow using several different ribbons...I cut 3 strips of each ribbon, layered them, and then tied them together in the middle with a piece of twine.
Oh, and you will never guess what I wrapped....a Paper Pumpkin Box!

They make great gift boxes and can hold lots of goodies! I can see gifting some Christmas socks, gloves, a hat or scarf in one of these, or, if you have friends that love to craft, a stamp set, some ink and paper, even a crafting kit with bone folder, snips, and adhesive.
Not a Paper Pumpkin subscriber? This is the preview of November's kit, you have until November 10 to subscribe. It really is a party in a box!

Fun Fall Tag For Share It Sunday Blog Hop

Hey Y'all!
This weekend I had an opportunity to attend Backstage At Home, a training Stampin' Up! offers to their Silver Elite and above Demonstrators. It was a virtual event, but I was blessed to be able to watch it with 2 other demonstrators in my area, my upline and another Demonstrator not part of our team, but one we collaborate with very often and share ideas. In fact, she is part of the Crafty Collaborators-Robbie Susan Chandler. I love that fact about the Stampin' Up! community-the willingness to share ideas and help others grow. It was almost as good as being able to be there in person....almost...

We met at Robbie Susan's home, and you know when girls get together, there has got to be food, right? Preferably something sweet! I ordered some cookies from a local baker, and brought them to share. I've included her contact information below, but she can only ship within the state of Georgia because of her Cottage License...sorry to my non-Georgia friends!

So if there is a basket of cookies, it's got to be decorated, right? I have fallen in love with the Seasons of Fun stamp set. (It is a Host set, so you have to earn it, see how below!) If you love to color...you have to get this set, such cute images! I also added a Dollar Tree bow & flower.

I used the Stampin' Blends to color this image. Since this set does not include sentiments, I used one from Banner Year, a great all around set that can be used for many occasions. This sentiment is probably my favorite...any guesses why, y'all!
Now let's see what my Crafty Collaborations friends are sharing today:

Since this is a host set, the only way you can get it is with a $150 purchase and claim it as part of your rewards, or host a gathering with some friends...it can be virtual...get some orders together, and you get the rewards. Remember that Saleabration is going on, that means FREE product with $50 (Level 1) or $100 (Level 2) orders.
Saleabration is also the perfect time to join my team-the Southern Accents Stampin' Squad. The Starter Kit is the best deal in the catalog, even more so during Saleabration because in addition to getting to choose $125 in product for only $99 with free shipping, you get to choose a free bundle! The Seasons of Fun can't be included in your starter kit, but you can get it as a reward for your first order. Email me at ninassouthernaccents.gmail.com with any questions you may have! I would love to help you start your own Stampin' Up! journey!

Here is my friend Stephanie's information if you live in Georgia. If you don't, who says I can't mail my friends some delicious homemade cookies?
