Grassy Grove Thank You Card for the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Hey Y'all!
Wow! We made it through Christmas and now we are headed full blast into 2023! This past year has been one full of challenges for me and my family. We created some wonderful memories with our granddaughter, who turned 1 year old the beginning of December, but we also lost some very dear loved ones. I have not had alot of spare time (and honestly inspiration) to spend in my craft room or to blog, as those of you that subscribe have probably noticed. But that is what I love about a new year coming...it is a wonderful time to reflect and set new goals. I love being a part of the Crafty Collaborator community and getting to take part in these fun Blog Hops that give a jump start when those creative juices aren't flowing.

This month's theme is a Color Challenge.

I love these earthy tones, and chose the Grassy Grove set to create this Thank You card.

I ran strips of Gray Granite, Crumb Cake, and Soft Suede cardstock through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with the Timber Embossing folder, then adhered them to a Very Vanilla cardfront.

I cropped a piece of Very Vanilla with a Stitched Rectangle die, then applied Mango Melody with a Blending Brush to create a sunset sky. I stamped the ground image in Gray Granite and the tree image in Soft Suede. I also used Soft Suede to stamp the sentiment. *****TIP: Use your Stamparatus to stamp sentiments, especially when stamping directly onto a scene you have already stamped. It allows you stamp multiple times in case you didn't get good coverage at first, and also allows you to get a darker image in case it shows up lighter than you wish.***** I added a Linen Thread bow and some Rustic Metallic Dots.
Make sure to hop through and see everyone else's beautiful projects, I hope you have a wonderful 2023 filled with God's richest blessings!

Seasonal Sale and Christmas Gifting Kit Alternatives

Hey Y'all!
I just got back from Onstage, an event where Stampin’ Up! demonstrators gather and get to see new product and share swaps and craft together- just a fun time with our crafting community.
I wanted to hop on and share the news about this incredible sale starting today! Some great deals going on, make sure to check it out!
Then last night I had my Sweet and Simple monthly card class. Attendees received the Christmas Gifting Tag kit and also completed 2 alternative projects.

The first alternative is this masculine birthday card. We all were in agreement Stampin' Up! needs to make a stamp for this deer head!

And here is the second alternative. I love the sparkle on this card!
Below is a link you can click to get your own Christmas Gifting Kit, or any of our other fun kits!
Contact me if you live in the South Georgia or North Florida area and you are interested in attending classes in person. Also, our January-June Mini Catalog and Saleabration are coming up soon! Contact me if you would like a catalog sent to you.

Have you seen the kits collection? Here are 2 of the newest, and I am so excited about them both! (Birthday Card Organizer kit available October 4, 2022)

Stampin For Christmas-Christmas Scottie Pop-Up Card

Hey Yall!
Here we are in November, and only 8 Sundays til Christmas! Who is finished with their Christmas shopping? Not me! Anybody got their tree up? Again, not me! I hope to have everything done the week of Thanksgiving. When do yall decorate?

I'm sharing a Pop-Up card with you today. We made this at one of my card classes, and it looks difficult, but it's really not that difficult. I used the Christmas Scottie bundle, which is a cute set that can be used all year long.

To add interest, I cut off 1" from the front flap, and stamped the "Woof" sentiment along the bottom of the inside piece.  I stamped the plaid image onto a piece of Basic White and cropped it with one of the squares from the Stylish Shapes dies. The Real Red banner piece also was cropped from that die set. I stamped the dog image in Memento (TIP: use your Stamparatus so you can stamp multiple times to get a crisp image), and punched him and the bow with the coordinating punch. I added one of the flat jingle bells and some of the Gingham Black and White ribbon.

Here is the inside! I love how it looks like they are tugging on the ribbon. The dogs were punched from Basic Black cardstock.

Here is how they pop up. I did not have time to make a video showing how to do this, but Connie Stewart has a great video showing you how to make pop up cards of all shapes and sizes.

Thanks for stopping by today! Now make sure to hop through and see what everyone else is sharing!
