Card I CASE’d from a Gift Bag, Seriously!

Hey Y’all!
I am on a roll, a blog post 2 days in a row! But I just had to share this card with you because it is just so pretty! I CASE’d it from a gift bag I received a Christmas gift in.
Now this is definitely an “avid” crafter card, lots of die cutting and I pulled several sets of dies and stamp sets to get everything I wanted. But the result is Oh so worth it, don’t you think?
To get the detail on the leaves, I actually inked up the embossing dies that come in the Nature’s Roots framelits (that poinsettia is made with the leaf dies).  First I cut out the leaf image with the outline die, then I simply pressed the embossing die into the ink pad, then placed it on the cardstock and ran it through the die cutting machine.  I did that for both the Real Red and Smoky Slate leaves. The center of the flower is from a new set coming in the Mini Catalog available to customers in January. I punched a 1-1/2 circle to build my flower on.
The Well Said Stamp Set gives you sentiments for just about any occasion you can think of, definitely a must have in your library!

Measurements: Basic Gray Card Base 4-1/4 x 11, scored at 5-1/2, Basic Black layer 4 x 5-1/4.

I made this an anniversary card, but it could easily be adapted for any occasion. Tidings All Around Wreath Card

Hey Y’all!
Today’s card isn’t a very happy one, but hopefully one that will bring encouragement to the recipient. That’s what I love about Stampin’ Up!, it allows me to say the perfect thing, even the hard things.  I have a friend whose son was killed in an automobile accident just a few weeks ago, and this will be her first Christmas without him.
I love the sentiment from the host set “Greatest Part of Christmas,” and have I mentioned how much I love the font in this set!
The Red Rhinestones just set off that wreath, don’t you think? I added some DSP from the Let It Snow collection.

The inside sentiment came from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set. I wish we didn’t need this kind of card, but isn’t it great that we have the tools to create one when we do?
Don’t forget the envelope! I used the same pattern of DSP.  Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have been inspired. The Tidings All Around and Greatest Part of Christmas sets are only available through January 2, 2020, so get them while you can! Merry Christmas!
