Note Card Holder & The Saleabration Continues Class

Hey Y'all!

Here are the instructions for the note card holder I shared the other day.  If you missed that post with all of the cards inside, you can view it here.

This would make a great gift, in fact, I made this one for my mom.

It can hold up to 6 notecards and envelopes, 3 on each side.

Here are the instructions to make the holder:
  • Cardstock: 7-1/2 x 8-1/4
  • Score the long side at 3-7/8 and 4-3/8
  • Score the short side at 5-1/4 x 5-1/2
  • 2 side pieces 1-1/4 x 2
  • Score these on the 2' side at 1/2 and 3/4

Mark 1" out from each vertical score line in the center.  Draw a diagonal line from this mark up to the top score line on each side.  Cut out entire triangular section.

Fold the side tabs and adhere them to the outside bottom edge.  Fold up the bottom flaps and adhere to form a pocket. When the holder is folded, these should line up on the sides.

Decorate and embellish as desired.  For this project, my DSP measured 3-3/4 x 5-1/8, and my ribbon was about 24".
I am offering this as a class Saturday March 13.  Saleabration was just too short, and there was so much going on in my life.  Everyone who attends will be entered into a drawing to win the Punch Party stamp set and other prizes.  The class will be $20 for the notecard holder and 6 cards.  I will also offer this as a Class to Go.  That option will be $15 for the class plus $8 shipping.  You will receive 6 notecards and envelopes, 6 6x6 pieces of DSP, Basic White for stamping, ribbon, and the holder template scored.  You will be responsible for cutting, punching, and stamping the cards.
Deadline to sign up is Thursday February 25.  I plan to use the same DSP used here, but it is only while supplies last, so I can't guarantee it.
Click here to sign up.
If you just absolutely love the items I used and don't want to wait for the class, you can earn the DSP free with a $50 order and the Host exclusive Stamp Set with a $300 order during Saleabration, which ends February 28.
Thanks for stopping by!
Love,
Nina

Happy Mail Created With Snail Mail Suite

Hey Y'all!

I have a fun card to share with you today made with the Snail Mail Suite.

Now I must confess, this suite was not on my Top 5 list from the 2021 J-J Mini (That's short for January-June Mini Catalog), but the more I saw projects made with it, it moved up the list pretty quickly!

My favorite is the tiny envelope die, and then my second favorite is the DSP.  Oh, and those sweet little heart embellishments!  I love how they can be used for lips on the snail! So much to love!  I used a couple of strips of DSP in the background, and also "paper pieced" it onto the gifts. To to do this, just stamp that portion of the image onto the DSP and fussy cut it, then adhere to your project. I brought in the Stitched With Whimsy Dies to add more texture to the Coastal Cabana background.  I colored the snail image with blends. It doesn't show up in the picture, but I added some sparkle with a Wink of Stella pen to the snail's eyes, the shell, and the gifts.

I also carried over the DSP to the inside of my card.

Thanks for stopping by today! If you would like to order any of the products used, just click on the images below to go to my online store. Please use the current host code found in the right column. I hope you will subscribe, I love sharing my projects and hope they inspire creativity in you. Now go create a card, send some "happy mail" and make someone smile!

Nina

DSP-Easiest Way To Make It In Minutes

Hey Y’all!
Today’s “Make It In Minutes” card is brought to you by the Peaceful Poppies DSP, some of the prettiest in the new Mini Catalog in my opinion.
There is one design that is perfect for easy card making. All you have to do is cut it down to 4 x 5-1/4 pieces (you will get 6 card fronts from 1 sheet), adhere it to a card base, add a sentiment, an embellishment if you like, and Boom! A completed card!

My embellishment on this card was a Linen Thread bow.

When you cut the 12x12 sheet down to 4x5-1/4, you are left with a 4x1-1/2 piece. I cut it down to 3/4, and it was perfect to embellish the inside of my card.  I added one of the elements that comes in the suite. Easy-peasy!

I stamped my sentiment, punched it out, and popped it up with dimensionals. You can’t go wrong with the Peaceful Poppies Suite! So many beautiful products, and so easy to use!  Now if I could just find a way to Blog in minutes! (Sigh)
If you would like to order any of the products used, click on the images below to go to my online store. Please use the current host code to get Loyalty Reward Points. Love,
Nina
