Hey Y'all!
I wanted to share some cards I made with one of my favorite bundle in the January-April Mini Catalog-the Share A Milkshake Bundle. Maybe it's because a milkshake is one of my favorite treats, maybe it's the cute, cute font, or the fun dies....I don't know. But I have had lots of fun creating cards with it.

This first card is an "almost" simple stamping card. It is just stamps, ink, and paper except for that die cut cherry popped up on top of the milkshake. I needed a bunch of thank you cards, so I used our Notecards and Envelopes, got out my Stamparatus, and went to work. The Stamparatus was the secret to lining up the two-step stamps for the milkshake glass and topping perfectly, and then cranking these out quickly. I came back and stamped the straw, sentiment, and those cute hearts using my blocks. And Voila! Twenty thank you's in no time!

This next card is a result of dropping one of the Thank You notes in an ink pad....UGGGGHHHHH!!! Does that ever happen to y'all? Thank goodness it was the inside of the card. It just fell pretty as you please right on top of my Sweet Sorbet! So I used just the card front and stepped things up. (PS see that cute little Boho Blue Mini Cut & Emboss up there in the corner? You can have your own when you join my team as a Demonstrator! Only a couple of weeks left to take advantage of this awesome opportunity!)

I used the Country Gingham DSP to die cut those stinkin' cute hearts and the lattice die. I also added a strip for the background. Did I mention I was away from my craft room and was working with limited supplies? I wanted some more texture, so I added score lines with my paper trimmer. I also had not planned to make any regular sized cards, just use the notecards and keep it simple. I just so happened to have some Blushing Bride cardstock I had brought to use on some other projects, and I really like how it coordinated with the colors I used.

I needed to make a gift card holder, and had planned to do that at another time, but then I thought, "Why not use this one?" You can make any card a gift card holder easy peasy-just add a strip of DSP or even cardstock along the bottom of the inside panel and only adhere three of the sides, leave the top open. Here I added another strip of the Country Gingham DSP. See that little thumb notch? I used one of the dies from the bundle to create that! I just had to add that little heart I had left over.
I hope these cards have sparked your creativity. You can purchase the Share A Milkshake Bundle from my online store, just click the link at the top of the page. It would be a great bundle to add to your Starter Kit when you sign up as a demonstrator...just sayin'! I would love to have you on my team!

Announcing February's Christmas Club-Ringed With Nature

Who doesn't love free stuff! And there are so many pretties to choose from! Click here to start shopping!

It's a great time to join my team-the Southern Accents Stampin' Squad, SASS for short. Click "Join the Fun" at the top for more information!

Hey Y'all!
I am so excited about my monthly Christmas Club! I created it because every year when the Mini Catalog that features many of our Christmas stamps comes out, I order all of these sets that I love. Then the next thing I know it's the middle of December and I haven't even inked some of them up! Tell me you do the same thing!
So I have started a monthly class I am calling my "Christmas Club" featuring one Christmas stamp or bundle every month. The class will include 4 projects, including at least one Fun Fold card and most classes will include a 3D project. Even though it is called a "club," you can participate month by month, there is no obligation to buy every month.
February's Christmas Club features the Ringed With Nature Stamp and Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder.

There are so many fun features about this set! First, the Hybrid Embossing Folder that embosses AND cuts images. It looks intimidating, but I promise it's not. Second, this is a great all around stamp that can be used for many different occasions; it's not just limited to Christmas.

Check out this Valentine card I made with it! Here is the Facebook Live video showing you how to create the card and also see how to use the Hybrid Embossing Folder.

It is carrying over from the July-December 2022 Mini, so it is no longer bundled. But if you order it from me for this class, I will give you the 10% bundle discount. Normal purchase price with tax and shipping would be $70.73. You can purchase from me for $65 (and you will get a Saleabration item, woohoo!0 However, to get the discount, you cannot order it online yourself. You will need to email me at ninassouthernaccents@gmail.com with Ringed With Nature Christmas Club in the subject line. Let me know you would like to order the bundle and how you would like to pay, by Paypal or Venmo, and I will send you my link. You can also purchase just the tutorial for $10.

4 ways to get this class:
  • $25 In person (you do not need to own the bundle) Friday February 24 6:00 pm
  • $35 by mail (you will need the bundle and inks, all the other supplies will be mailed, see inks and other supplies used below)
  • FREE with $50 minimum purchase
  • $10 for the Tutorial

Saleabration Series: Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper

Who doesn't love free stuff! And there are so many pretties to choose from! Click here to start shopping!

It's a great time to join my team-the Southern Accents Stampin' Squad, SASS for short. Click "Join the Fun" at the top for more information!

Hey Y'all!
Life is good! Busy, chaotic, but good....my Saleabraton Saturday series has turned into just a Saleabraton Series. I am just getting a chance to share these cards made with the Dainty Flowers DSP.

This first card was made at a card class with a 4 x 5-1/4 panel of the DSP, but we altered it. Let's see if you can see the difference. Here is the panel unaltered.

And here is a close up.

No, that's not the lighting! We used a blending brush and Pool Party ink to change the white back ground. And do you see the bee and butterfly? The bee was stamped in Memento directly onto the DSP, then colored with a Stampin' Blend and some Wink of Stella. We also stamped the sentiment directly onto the DSP. I love the Brushed Brass Butterflies (say that 3 times fast!) so we added one of those. Then layered it onto a piece of 4-1/8 x 5-3/8 panel of Basic Black, wrapped a length of the new Pool Party Grosgrain ribbon (also altered by cutting in 1/2) and tied a bow, then attached that to a Pool Party cardbase.

I saw this style of card on a video from another company, just one of those ads that pops up in your feed. Then lo and behold, one of my demo friends was making one on her live video last week! I don't know what the official name is, but I'm calling it a Lattice card. I knew it would be perfect to look like a vine growing up a fence or lattice.

To create this style card, start with a top folding cardbase, 4-1/4 x 11 scored at 5-1/2. Remove 3" from the cardfront, then cut that piece into 1/2 inch strips, you will have 6. Attach a piece of Post-It Tape® with the sticky side up to center of the cardfront. Place 4 of the 1/2" strips across the tape, then open up the card, and adhere the last two strips to the edges. Remove the tape and embellish as desired. I added a panel of DSP layered onto a panel of Starry Sky, then fussy cut a pattern from the DSP to go on the "trellis." Did I mention this paper coordinates with the Dainty Delight Bundle? And do you recognize that little bee again? He is so stinkin' cute! And he, and the sentiments used on these first 2 cards comes from another free set that I featured last week. You can see it here'

This last card may be my favorite. It reminds me of a quilt, and it shows off several patterns of the DSP. It's also a great way to use up some of those scraps floating around your desk!

Cut your DSP into 5/8 x 4-1/4 strips and layer onto your card front. I embossed a 2-3/4 x 2-3/4 piece of Starry Sky with the new Cane Weave embossing folder. I punched a piece of Basic White with the Handmade Tag punch, then used Starry Sky and Fresh Freesia ink for my stamping. The sentiment and image comes from the Hope and Prayer set. Some Starry Sky Baker's Twine and In-Color Matte Decorative Dots was the perfect finishing touch.
Did you know Stampin' Up has added even more items to the Saleabration Choices?
