Hey Y'all!
I have started a Weekly Challenge in my Facebook group, South Georgia Stampers. I will pick a theme each week, and you get share a project you make around that theme, then post a picture of your project in the comments. Everyone who participates will win a small prize from me, most weeks it will be the card that I made for the challenge.
This week's challenge is "Summer." I used the sponge brayers to make the sky, water, and sand background. I used a sticky note to mask a spot for the sun, then added Mango Melody ink with a sponge dauber.
I used the Under My Umbrella stamp set and the Umbrella Builder Punch for the umbrella and sentiment. My beach bag is made from the Tailored Tag Punch. The Playing With Patterns DSP is so much fun! I used it for all of the elements. I just cut a rectangle and fringed the edges to make a beach blanket. The handle on the beach bag is the curve in the umbrella handle.
