Hey Y'all!
It is great to be back with the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop crew, a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world sharing our love of crafting with you. Our theme this month is "Back to School," so I created a card that has elements that remind me of my school days.
I loved cleaning the chalkboard...don't ask me why! My best friend and I would stay in from recess and use these gigantic sponges and a bucket of water and clean off all the chalk residue. This card brings back so many memories...we won't say how long ago that was!
A school themed project has to include an apple, right? I altered the large peach image from "Sweet As A Peach" and, Voila! I created the book stack with 1/4" strips in varying lengths, then added the black lines with a Stampin' Write Marker. The ABC letters were die cut with the Playful Alphabet dies.
I used sentiments from 2 stamp sets, Hydrangea Haven and In Your Words. This stamp can only be earned during Saleabration...it is FREE when you purchase $300 or more (or collect orders in that amount.) I made this with a teacher in mind, to remind them they DO make a difference. I love to hear stories of how a teacher made a difference in a child’s life…you can read a great one HERE or another one HERE. And I believe we as card makers make a difference, too, as we send our projects to encourage others. You never know how many ripples will be made from a single action, we just have to pick up the rock and throw it in the water, so to speak.
I call this card a $100 card, because it takes that much or more in product to make it. That is why I became a demonstrator, to be a "Discount Shopper!" Scroll down to see how you can join my team and be a discount shopper yourself. There is no better time to join than during Saleabration, but hurry! It ends September 30th.
Now it's time to see everyone else's Back To School projects!
The Starter Kit is ALWAYS the best deal in the catalog, but even more so during Saleabration! In addition to receiving $125 in product for only $99, you get to choose one of these bundles! I would love for you to join my team, the Southern Accents Stampin' Squad, SASS for short, and be a part of a community of people that love crafting and sharing with each other. Click on the "Get Sass" tab at the top, or email me (ninassouthernaccents@gmail.com) for more information.
If you would like to order any of the products used, click on the Products Images to go to my online store. Be sure to use the Current Host Code to earn free product from me!
Every order in September qualifies for this One Sheet Wonder tutorial bundle 24 project tutorials!
Thanks for stopping by today, go make something beautiful!
Love,
Nina
