I know there are so many of you that can't wait for cooler Fall weather and all the things that go along with it. But I just had to give one last ode to Summer...We spent Labor Day weekend camping, and this card was actually inspired by a dress my friend was wearing.
I love the black and white stripes, the bright, fun colors, the butterfly...it all just makes me happy.
The butterfly is actually die cut from one of the flower images, I stamped it in Daffodil Delight and stamped over it with the Dotted image in Polished Pink. I added 2 Matte Black Dots as well. Now, if you have the Quiet Meadow stamp set, you know that the "Love You" sentiment on my card is not in the set. Here is what I did:
Yes, I cut my stamp! It's ok! It will stamp normally, all you have to do is put the pieces back together and pick up with your block.
The photos don't pick it up very well, but I added Wink of Stella to the flowers and butterfly, and also "spritzed" the card with it....just tap the barrel against the cap and it adds dots of shimmer all over your card.
