Quiet Meadow Vintage Card For Technique Tuesday

Hey Y'all!
I love Technique Tuesday, don't you? The Crafty Collaborators are sharing "Vintage" techniques today, and this is right up my alley!

I used the Quiet Meadow Bundle and paired it with some new DSP from the January-June Mini Catalog-Heart & Home.

To create the "vintage" look, I first chose a Very Vanilla cardbase. My DSP measures 4 x 4-3/4 and 4 x 1-1/2. Since the DSP's base background was Basic White, I used a Blending Brush and Crumb Cake ink and sponged over the entire front of  both pieces. I then stamped images from the stamp set directly onto the "wood" DSP. I also stamped the word image onto the cardbase. To add texture, I wadded it up into a ball like I was going to throw it away, then straightened it back out. I tore the bottom edge, then curled all of the edges and corners. I stamped the flower image onto a 1-3/4 x 3-1/2 piece of Very Vanilla, then matted that with a 2 x 3-3/4 piece of Petal Pink. I die cut the piece for the sentiment in both Petal Pink and Very Vanilla, stamped the sentiment onto the Very Vanilla piece and trimmed the edges, then layered them together. I added some Linen Thread to the back of the sentiment, of course I had to fray the edges.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing my "vintage" project, now you get to see what everyone else has created!
