Cutest Cows Happy Birthday Fun Fold Card

Hey Y'all!
Today is a special day in our family, it's my daughter's birthday! She loves everything cows and worked as a bonafide cowgirl through college and a few months after she graduated with her degree in Ag Business. What other stamp to use for her birthday than the Cutest Cows Bundle? And, of course, it had to be a Fun Fold!

My favorite part about this card is the "cow spots." I used a stamp from the Color and Contour set (it's retiring, so snag it before the end of April!) and Memento Ink to create them. For the focal scene, I die cut a piece of Basic White with the Deckled Rectangle Dies, then I used Blending Brushes to apply Azure Afternoon and Lemon Lime Twist for the sky and grass, then stamped the grass image with Lemon Lime Twist. I stamped the sunflower in Memento, then colored them with Stampin' Blends. I stamped just the flowers again, then fussy cut them and popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I usually stamp the cow image and head, then punch them out. But today I used the builder punch to "build" it. I punched the body from Pecan Pie CS, and the hair for the top of the head (does it have a name?) and the end of the tail from Early Espresso. I used the brush tip of my Dark Pecan Pie blend to outline the punched image and also to draw in the hooves. For the head, I punched it from Pecan Pie, the snout from Very Vanilla, and the horns from Early Espresso. I stamped the eyes and mouth with Memento, then assembled the pieces. The Take Your Pick tool is a lifesaver! The sentiment was stamped onto a 1" piece of Basic White, then cropped with the Happy Labels Pick-a-Punch. I looped a length of the Black and White Gingham Ribbon (also retiring!) behind the sentiment and popped it up with dimensionals.

Ok, I lied....my favorite part is the bobble-head cow! Well, maybe it's a tie between that and the spots. Have you ever used the wobble springs on your cards? They are so fun! I've included an Amazon link down below for them.

For the inside, I stamped the image of the cow lying down and colored it with some of the Stampin' Blends from the Naturals Collection. I colored underneath with Smoky Slate to ground the image and not make it appear that it was floating on air. I love how Stampin' Blends make me look like an artist! And don't forget the envelope! I stamped those "cow spots" on the flap---so stinkin' cute!
