It's time for another Technique Tuesday, and today the Crafty Collaborators are showing you projects using watercolor.
I created this card using the Hand Penned Petals stamp set, and the "emboss resist" technique. I heat embossed the floral image with white embossing powder onto Shimmery White cardstock, then used water painters to add ink. Here are the steps:
- Heat emboss the image
- Add a water wash over the entire piece
- Use the small water painter to "dab" ink onto the image
- Increase the amount of water for lighter coverage, less water to make the color darker
Now hop through to see everyone else's creations!
