Hey Y'all!
It is May already! Welcome to this month's Stampin' For Christmas Blog Hop, you may have arrived from Jacqui Lawrence's blog. We hope you are getting lots of ideas for Christmas. This month, I am sharing a gift idea-this altered notebook and pen set. I didn't use any Christmas products, but you can definitely change the embellishments to make them Christmas-y. And they are so quick and easy to make, you can have a bunch on hand for gift-giving! I have a bunch of beach-lovers in my life, so these will make a sweet little stocking or basket stuffer for them. I'm also thinking teacher's gifts or Sunday School class members (my mom always gets me to make something for the Senior Ladies Class she is in.)
I bought a stack of 5 x 7 notepads from an office supply store and used the Friends Are Like Seashells bundle and Sand & Sea DSP to embellish it.
Shout out to Seaborn Printing in Bainbridge, GA for cutting them in 1/2 for me! I stamped images on the pages as well, because, well, you know, you can never stamp too much, right? I added a strip of DSP to the pen barrel, and to the binder clip as well.
Measurements:
- Misty Moonlight base 5-1/2 x 8-1/4, score on the 5-1/2 side at 2-5/8 & 2-7/8
- DSP 2-1/2 x 8, 2-1/2 x 4, 1-7/8 x 2-1/2 (for the top of the note pad), 3/4 x 3-1/2 )for pen barrel), 3/4 x 1-1/4 (for binder clip)
Now hop over to Annette Elias and see what she has to share!
