Music! A Crafty Collaborations Blog Hop

Hey Y'all!
The Crafty Collaborations crew is bringing you a fun hop today based on the theme "Music." I know there will be many different interpretations of this theme, and I can't wait to see them all. Music has been a part of my life since I was a little girl, I started piano lessons when I was 5. The Music Minister at my aunt's church was getting her Master's in Music, and she made extra money giving music lessons.  My aunt paid her $2 and fed her a meal as payment for my lessons (I'm not saying how many years ago this was lol!). Now I am part of the Worship Team at my church, I play the keyboard. I am so thankful my aunt saw the potential in me, and gave me the opportunity to learn. I chose to make my project specifically for one of our Team Members that I know is going through a discouraging time.

The Merry Melody 3D embossing folder (brand new in the Holiday Mini) was the perfect starting point for my project. I chose Pool Party as the main color, it is such a calming color to me, one of my favorites. And I knew I wanted to use that beautiful sheer ribbon.

Before I ran the Basic White panel through the EF, I used a Blending Brush to add some Pool Party ink. I used one of the flower images from the new stamp set "Nature's Harvest" and created a tag as my focal image.  Because of the "shimmer" in the Pool Party ribbon, I thought just a peek of the Be Dazzling specialty paper (a FREE Saleabration item!) was perfect.

Originally, I had planned to use the inside sentiment on the outside. But this is a music them, right? So "A Little Note" just had to go on the card!
Now we get to see what everyone else created!
