My Favorite Last Chance Products-Saying Goodbye Is So Hard To Do

Hey Y'all!
I have been MIA for a couple of weeks, but with good excuse....we had a wedding!  Finally, my daughter and her fiance were able to have their big wedding celebration.  I feel like my life has almost been on pause for over a year-we've been planning since last April-and I would find myself saying "when the wedding is over," or "after the wedding." Well, the wedding is over and I hit the reset button!  Anybody else?
Today I wanted to share my favorite Last Chance products, those items that are being discontinued and will no longer be available.  I don't want you guys to miss out, so here they are:

#5-The Starburst Punch

This is great to use with the 2" Circle Punch for quick and easy layering, as you see in the simple gift tag below.

#4-Stitched Labels Dies

Y'all know I am crazy about anything stitched, and these are some beautiful dies!

#3-Above The Clouds Bundle

This is such a fun set with great sentiments, and that punch is so versatile!

#2-Music From The Heart

If you are a music lover or know one, you need this set. This set was designed by Million Dollar Sales Achiever Dawn Olchefske (I looked it up to make sure I spelled her name right, and I did! Yay me :) ) I love the piano keys, the piano, how you can make a guitar combining 2 of the stamps, the font, the sentiments...This is one I want to yell at Stampin' Up! "WHAT ARE YOU THINKING???" It is definitely staying in my permanent collection.

And finally........drum roll............

#1-Over The Moon

Cows....need I say more.  Well, if your daughter loved cows the way mine does, you would understand.

So now you know my top favorites, what are yours? And even though saying goodbye is so hard to do, wait til you say hello to the new 2020-21 Annual Catalog!  Don't have one yet?  If you live in the US and don't already have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I would love to send you one!  Just email me at ninamac70@gmail.com with your name and address, and I will get one to you. To order any of these products, all you have to do is click on the product image and it will take you to my online store.  I would love to earn your business, let me know if I can help with any of your crafting needs!

Let's Get Hopping Round 31-My Happy Color

Hey Y'all!
Where is the time going?  It seems like our last hop with this amazing group was just a couple of weeks ago!  But I always enjoy sharing projects with these fabulous ladies.  Today there is lots of happiness floating around because we are showcasing our "happy color." And the winner for me is....

Coastal Cabana!  As Dena Rekow over at The Creativity Cave says, "It's the color that let's us know God loves us!"

Since we all need alot of happiness right now, why stop at our happy color?  You know what else makes me happy....stitching! The Stitched Labels dies and Stitched All Around stamp set were perfect for my project.

In fact, the only thing sad about this is they are retiring...they are available through June 2 OR WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.  So if you love them, get them quick before they are gone

I did want to give Bermuda Bay an honorable mention. I layered the Brights DSP in both colors.  PS, see that gingham?  Something else that make me happy.  :)

I just had to add this project...and here is the story behind it.  The other day I was talking with a customer, and she told me how she loved to make those "Happy Boxes."  I asked how she made them, and she said, "You know, that curvy box die. I call them happy boxes. I give them to everybody!" What a perfect name for the Mini Curvy Keepsake Box, which, happily, is not retiring!  I paired Bermuda Bay cardstock with the Coastal Cabana DSP, and used the sentiment from Meant To Be.

I am putting some chocolate in that Happy Box and giving it and the card to my friend because, well, chocolate makes us both REALLY happy! So what is your happy color?  Let me know in the comments! Now make sure to hop on over to my lovely friend Tracy Bish, and get some more happiness!

My happy place is definitely my craft room.  Not only does it make me happy to create, it also brings so much joy to share what I've created, and, hopefully, bring happiness to someone else.  Stampin' Up! has been encouraging people to #sendsunshine.  That is what I plan to do with these projects, and I hope you are inspired to do the same.  If you live in the US and don't already have a demonstrator, and would like to order products I've used today, click on the links below to go to my online store. If you would like a catalog, please contact me and I will be happy to send you one.

Clay Pot Stamping...Stamps Are For More Than Paper Part 2

Hey Y'all!
If you know me personally, you know I love all things crafty.  Being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator helps satisfy that craving, and most of the time I stick to papercrafting. But I love it when I can take my stamps "outside the box". My last blog showed you how I used stamps to paint a birdhouse.  You can see that post here.

Today I wanted to share this project...a clay flower pot I painted using the oh so cute Little Ladybugs stamp set that was a host-only set during Saleabration.

I hated to see this one go. I have always loved ladybugs...well, decorative ones...not necessarily real ones. It may be because they are red, and I am partial to red...see table...You can see a shaker card I made with this set here.

Now some of you could freehand this and it would look amazing.  Not me. I've already shared I can barely draw a stick figure.  This technique works best with open images made for coloring.  Stampin' Up! has lots of those to choose from! (PS, did you know the new catalog is almost out?  Make sure you give me your contact information so I can send you one, if you don't already have a demonstrator.)

I painted the background color first with acrylic paint (the cheap kind from Wally-world.)  Then I added my images.  The first trick is don't put the stamp on a block., just hold it on your fingers. You need it to be flexible to curve around the pot.  I inked up my stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then pressed the stamp to the pot.  Some of the ink didn't transfer, and that is ok. I had enough of the image outline to go by.

Once you finish painting, you will need to spray the pot with a sealer, especially if you plan to use it outside.  I've put a Gerbera Daisy in mine and placed it on my table by my pool. I hope you enjoyed this project, thanks for stopping by!

****Edtited*****
I did not think about clay pots being porous.  DO NOT put a plant directly into the pot, put it in a smaller container inside.  Moisture will seep through and mess up the paint underneath.  I learned this the hard way!!!
I would love to earn your business.  If you don't already have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and live in the US, contact me and I will send you a catalog.  It is so much fun!  We have products for any level of crafter, from the beginner to the avid. Let me help you out with your crafting needs!
Love,
Nina
