It's another Crafty Challenge Blog Hop! And today's challenge is this fun Color Challenge!
I pulled out one of my favorite sets from the July-December Mini Catalog-Seasons of Fun. This is one of the host sets available for customers to choose as their Stampin' Rewards.
I love the images in this set, and knew it would be great to use with this color challenge! I stamped the image with Memento Ink onto a piece of Basic White cropped with one of the Seasonal Labels Dies. I masked the image and used a blending brush to add Coastal Cabana ink to the background. Then I stamped the snowflake images in Bermuda Bay. The little girl and her tree and sled were colored with Stampin' Blends. I heat embossed a sentiment from the Stars Are Shining stamp set. I also added one of the Wonderful Snowflakes. The Coastal Cabana panel was embossed with one of the Wintry Embossing Folders (the one with snowflakes.) I added some of the Playful Pets trim behind the sentiment and popped it up with dimensionals. So what do you think of this color combination? Let me know in the comments!
