Stampin' For Christmas Blog Hop

Hey Y'all!

It's great to be back with my friends from the Stampin' For Christmas Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world sharing projects for Christmas all through the year.

I fell in love with the Truckin' Along Bundle when I saw just a glimpse of the punch in a flyer for the Online Exclusive products. It is currently unavailable because of it's popularity, but that means a ton of people have it, right?

I brought in the Sketched Plaid Background stamp, and used Stampin' Blends to color the truck.

This is also a two-step stamp, which means you can stamp the outline image in one color, and then fill the image in with another. This is what I did with the Christmas Tree. I stamped the outline in full-strength Shaded Spruce, then "stamped-off" the fill in image to achieve a lighter shade. The greeting is heat embossed, and some white Baker's Twine finished off the card.

Sweet Treats Wanted: Let’s Get Hopping Instahop

Hey Y'all!

Today I am on an Instahop with my friends that are part of the Let’s Get Hopping crew, and Sweet Treats Wanted is our theme.

I used the Share A Milkshake stamps and dies to create this fun gift card holder. 

I started with a Berry Burst cardbase, then stamped images in Berry Burst ink onto Bubble Bath Cardstock. My focal image has a Pool Party background, and Pecan Pie cardstock was the perfect color for my cone. I sponged the edges to give it even more texture. (PS I love love love that little ice cream cone die!)

For my sentiment, I heat embossed the Hello in white onto Berry Burst CS. And I love how the Black and White Gingham ribbon finishes it off!

                                                   

To create the gift card holder, attach the Bubble Bath CS to the cardbase, then use the Decorative Circle Punch to create the thumb notch. Attach the inside Basic White panel, then use Tear and Tape on the 2 side edges to adhere flap. 

Card Measurements:

• Berry Burst CS 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score on long side @ 2-3/4 & 6-3/4
• Bubble Gum CS 2-1/2 x 5-1/4, 1-1/2 x 5-1/2
• Basic White inside panel 5-1/4 x 3-3/4

Here are some cards I have made recently:

Sometimes you just have to pull out the retired stuff to make a special card for a special little girl’s birthday!

The theme for this Instahop was “Fairy Tale Moments.” I created a Magic Wand as the focal point of the card. I used the Give it a Whirl dies for the clouds and star, and the Basic Border Dies for the cloud border. The sentiment came from the Hello Ladybug stamp, and I stamped it in Starry Sky. All of the 2022-24 In Colors were used-Tahitian Tide for the card base, and all of the ribbon colors. 

I am looking forward to getting back in the blogging groove, thank you to my faithful customers that continue to support me!
