A Halloween Treat for Share It Sunday Blog Hop

Hey Y'all!
I'm joining the Crafty Collaborators for our monthly Share It Sunday Blog Hop. We can share anything we choose, so I have decided to share these treat holders I created with Tombstone Treat Boxes.

Aren’t they so stinkin’ cute? And they came together so quickly, which was great because I am the Queen of Procrastination, and made these the day of our annual Halloween Party. Yep, I'm THAT girl!

The treat boxes have their own adhesive, and are super easy to put together.

To decorate, I adhered 2 pieces of Cute Halloween DSP measuring 3 x 2-1/2, stamped my greeting and the bat from the Frightfully Cute stamp set onto a piece of Basic White punched from the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch. The Happy Halloween sentiment is from the Sparkle of the Season stamp set. (BTW, Great way to use those 1/2 strips left over from cutting down your Basic White into 4 x 5-1/4-anybody else save those pieces?) I added the Metallic Mesh Ribbon bow (I love that stuff!) I added the pencil with a glue dot and Voila!

The boxes hold a good bit of candy. Even though today is Halloween and it's too late to order these for this year, they are available (while supplies last) until January 3, the end of the July-December Mini Catalog...or there is a chance they carry over to next year, but I wouldn't take that chance. So you can order for next year. Just think, you could go ahead and decorate them and be way ahead of the game, and not ever have the title of Queen of Procrastination lol!
Now let's see what everyone else is sharing today!

Crafty Challenge Blog Hop-Sketch Challenge

Hey Y'all!
It's time for another Crafty Challenge Blog Hop with my friends from the Crafty Collaborators, a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that love to share our passion for papercrafting with you! Today we are sharing a Sketch Challenge.

I am filing this one away as one of my favorites! I used the Peaceful Deer Bundle to create this quick and easy card in no time.

If you are ever in a "slump" and feel like you've lost your crafting "mojo," a sketch is a great jumping off point.

Have you ever colored with your Wink of Stella? I stamped the deer in Early Espresso onto Crumb Cake cardstock, then pressed a corner of an acrylic block onto my Soft Suede ink pad and picked it up with my Wink of Stella brush. And have you seen the Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper in the Annual Catalog? I would have missed it, but a fellow demo pointed it out to me, and I'm so glad she did! It's on page 135 tucked in the corner...you need to add that to your next order! It's gorgeous!

I love the simplicity of this sketch and how you can make quick and easy cards using this layout. Now it's time to see what everyone else is sharing!

Measurements:
  • Crumb Cake cardbase 8-1/2 x 5-1/2, scored @ 4-1/4
  • DSP and Gold Metallic Paper 2-1/2 x 3-1/2
  • DSP 5-1/2 x 1 cropped with Scalloped die from Penned Flowers dies
  • Basic White 1/2" x appx. 3"
***The Deer Builder Punch is in Not Orderable Status at this time, estimated availability is November 15, 2021***
