Retiring In Colors Blog Hop

Hey Y'all!
I am joining my friends from Crafty Collaborations to showcase our retiring In Colors! If you subscribe to my blog, you've seen this card before, but I just couldn't help showing it again.

I used items from the Sand & Sea Suite, the Friends Are Like Seashells Bundle and the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder.

The large die cuts out this panel, and it coordinates with the embossing folder. I first die cut a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 piece of Basic White, then stamped the shells in each of the retiring In-Colors (I stamped off first to get a softer shade), then I ran it through the embossing folder. I added the sand dollar and starfish, my sentiment, and a  Linen Thread bow. **Because the Purple Posy Ink Pad was discontinued due to quality issues, I used the Stampin' Write marker to ink up the stamp for this color.

The sparkles on the card base were created by dipping my Wink of Stella brush into Seaside Spray reinker and tapping against the lid over the top of the card. Be sure to move everything out of the way, it can get messy!
The sad news is these colors are retiring, the good news is this stamp set and embossing folder aren't! But why wait? This is a perfect set for summer...scrapbook pages for those beach vacations, cards for your beach loving friends...Stampin' Up! makes it so easy to create beautiful things!
Now that you have seen my project, it's time to see what everyone else has created!
