Very Vanilla-Showing Some Love

Hey Y'all!
Today I am enjoying hopping with some fabulous ladies from all across the globe as the Let's Get Hopping crew takes up the challenge to give "Very Vanilla" some love.

When I was thinking about what to make for my project, my mind went to the very first Stampin' Up! stamp set I ever purchased called Floral Phrases.  The combination of the stamps and thinlits, with gold foil paper and the gold accented ribbon make such an elegant card that can be used for a wedding or even an anniversary.  And the best part?  The matching thinlits do all the work to make a stunning presentation!  I just layered over a piece of gold foil, gold embossed the sentiment, and added the bow.
I did add some bling to my card, though.  You know us Southern Girls have to have our bling! Anyway, Stampin' Up! has Clear and Gold Faceted Gems.  Well, I only had the clear, so I coated it in the Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then coated it with the Gold Stampin' Glitter!  I love finding ways to use what you have! (My husband loves when I do that as well, since it saves money and keeps me from dragging something else into the house, lol!)

Thanks for hopping along with us today, the "Next Blog" link will take you back to the beginning to the lovely Sherry Espinoza.  If you started in the middle somewhere, make sure you click through to see all of the projects.

If you are interested in purchasing any of the products used in my project, and live in the US, you can go to my online store by clicking on any of the items below.  I would love to earn your business!  If you order less than $150, please use Host Code  JVRXXVKW.  If your order is $150 or over, skip the host code and claim the Stampin' Rewards for yourself!  And remember to subscribe to my blog so you don't miss any inspiration!
Have a fabulous day!
Love,
Nina

  2. I'm getting a theme here. Very vanilla has never been a favorite of mine but every card on this month's hop has turned out elegant. I think vanilla may be my color of choice for sympathy and wedding cards for now on!
