The Most Simple Christmas Card Ever

 Hey Y'all!

Anybody working on last minute Christmas stuff?  Please tell me I am not the only one!  There are some gifts I will be delivering, and I wanted to include a card, and I knew our notecards and envelopes would be perfect.

I also love the simple look of just a black sketch.  I combined the Peaceful Nativity set with For Unto Us, brought out my Stamparatus, and cranked out 10 of these in no time.  But what I didn't know was I was creating the perfect 2020 Christmas card....

Oh yes, I did....all 10 of them!  The Stamparatus is awesome.....as long as you have your paper oriented correctly!  Guess what...I'm still giving them!  

Maybe it will give the recipients a good laugh, because we all need one after the year we have had!  And hopefully I've given you a smile today, too!

Quick & Easy Layout Uses up DSP

Hey Y’all!

4 days til Christmas! Do you believe it? I needed some more Christmas cards, and I have a TON of retiring DSP, so this is what I came up with!

It uses the Pine Tree Punch, Hippo and Friends dies, and the Heartwarming Hugs DSP, but this layout can be adapted to use with any DSP, dies, and focal image. I didn’t want to waste the 1/4” strip from my Pear Pizzazz layer, so I ran it through the embossing folder and used it to cover where the DSP meets.

I brought in the For Unto Us stamp for the inside of the card. I love the sentiments in this set, perfect for sharing the true meaning of Christmas. It is retiring soon, so make sure if you want it you order before January 5!

Quick and Easy Cards

 Hey Y’all!

How many of you are completely finished with all of your Christmas? Decorations up, gifts wrapped, Christmas cards mailed....if you are way behind, you are not alone! That's why I wanted to share this today!

I found this coffee cup at Hobby Lobby, and just loved it!  Then I had a thought, why not CASE it into a card?

I used the Tag Buffet stamp set(which is retiring, by the way), the Heartwarming Hugs DSP, and Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  DSP measures 5-1/2 x 2.

I made this on my FB live last night, and originally planned just a landscape oriented card, but it came together so quickly, I decided to do a portrait orientation as well.  I brought in the tree from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set for this one.  DSP measures 4-1/4 x 2-1/4.

Gifts: Let's Get Hopping Round 37

 Hey Y'all!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! And the Let’s Get Hopping crew is sharing some gift ideas for you. I chose to feature the Heartwarming Hugs Suite from the 2020 Holiday Mini Catalog. 

Now me being a Southern girl, I had to incorporate Mason jars in my project. I was so happy that small jelly jars fit into the Mini Coffee Carrier. My mom made Strawberry Fig Preserves and Peach Fig Preserves this summer, and I asked her to make some for me for this very reason, to give as gifts.

I used the DSP and Real Red cardstock to make a band around the carrier. I also dressed up my jar lids with die cut circles from the Stitched Shapes dies. 

I created the tag with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch and Pear Pizzazz cardstock. I added some of the DSP to the top, and I love the Scalloped die...I used it to make the scalloped edge in the bottom of the tag.
