Hey Y'all!
Thanks for hopping along with this fabulous group! You should have arrived here from Eva Pottsova's blog. If not, take the time to check out all of the beautiful projects, just follow the Next Blog links and it will take you through all of them, you don't want to miss out!
We are showcasing projects using only basic supplies-stamps, ink, and paper. Here is my project:
Believe it or not, no special tools required! This card was made using only stamps, ink, and paper! And it was super easy! I've had this card in my head for a while now, and I am so happy to share it with all of you. The technique I believe is called "Triple Time Stamping."
Here are the paper measurements:
Cherry Cobbler
2-1/4" x 3-1/2"
3-1/4" x 4-1/2"
5-1/2" x 8-1/2"
(fold in 1/2 for card base)
Whisper White
2" x 3-1/4"
3" x 4-1/4"
2 pieces 4" x 5-1/4
(one for the inside of card)
The stamp sets I used were the Painted Harvest and Snowflake Sentiments from the Stampin' Up! 2017 Holiday Catalog, and the Merry Patterns that was a hostess exclusive in September and October (want one? watch the video to find out how you can win it!). I only used the "Merry Christmas" sentiment from it, so you can use any one you have available. But I do love, love, love that set!
Ink colors were Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, and Cherry Cobbler. Links to all of the products used are listed below. It was easier to show you how in a video than trying to explain, so here is the instructional video to make the card:
Don't you just love the versatility of that Painted Harvest set? It is definitely one of the must have's out of the Holiday Catalog! I hope you were inspired to get back to the basics of Stamps, Ink, and Paper. I think we forget that we don't need a lot of fancy tools to create beautiful projects. I know you are going to enjoy the next project created by the amazing Susan Wong, click the link below and it will take you to her blog!
Remember, place a $50 order in my online store by November 26 using Host Code SQ92XZBP to be entered in the drawing for the Merry Patterns stamp set. Drawing will be held December 1st. **only for those residing in the United States**
I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving, be watching for My Favorite (Stampin' Up!) Things post in December!
Sending love to you and yours,
Nina
